Riddle me this...

Q: What has hands but cannot clap?

This riddle has some very simple answers, but I'm intrigued to discover the variety of potential answers.

Epiphany

Do you have a paticular time when inspiration hits, when you are more likely to have an epiphany than others? Many people say in the shower.

For me, the most profound moments happen when I'm doing the dishes by hand, or peeling fruit. Driving occasional yeilds a jewel or two, as do long walks outdoors, but they also have a tendency to let things flow too freely; the ideas come and go, they aren't captured or crystallized the way they are when I'm bound to a simple task.
