Veronica Mars: Season 2
Sep. 5th, 2006 10:06 pmI finished season two and I did not like the finale. And I can't even write about it without spoilage. Let's just say the "who did it" upset me as though certain kinds of damage turn people into psychopathic killers.
I also hated the missing baby subplot. What was the point of that? Ew!
Season 2 kind of hit me emotionally. (Leave it to me to get weepy over a teen noir.) In someways Veronica is really starting to unravel. Neptune is like a kind of nightmare from which she can't wake. All the people she loves are there, but most of them aren't really in a capacity to be able to give to her, even if a certain someone saves her life more than once in this season. Epic, indeed! And she's not exactly a model of healthy emotional behavior. I have to say that's why I like her.
Anyway, I've been feeling a little down lately, and am not sure how to shake it. I'm thinking about giving into it for a night or two, listening to sad music, hitting the gin. I'm not sure what's gotten into me, but the blue devil demands his due.
