Wild bison return to Colorado
Mar. 18th, 2007 08:03 am Wild Bison return to Colorado
This story was on the front of my paper this morning. I thought it might capture your imagination.
A friend of mine has this fabulous story about a bison getting wedged between her propane tank and her trailer. When she called the wildlife people they told her there was no such thing as a wild bison. When she called the bison ranchers they told her it wasn't tagged and therefore couldn't be a captive bison. When she called animal control they just laughed at her.
In the meantime, the bison worked itself free, but would still occasionally be seen in their neighbohood. (She lived in the mountains.)
