Cake or death?

frostmorn, (but posted here so the rest of you can also enjoy it):
Eddie Izzard has this routine about world domination and the Church of England which results in the joke "cake or death?" I've been misremembering it for weeks as the fundamental philosophy of Church of England being "cake or hell?", which is also a great joke; but not originally where it started. This is from Eddie Izzard: Dress to Kill. The thing about Eddie is it's mildly amusing to watch; but HILARIOUS upon recollection. When I first watched this show I thought, "It's okay, but what's the big deal." The big deal was that weeks later when I was still laughing at the jokes. Including this one:

It's a Sunday morning and might be a little early for this kind of thing, but I had to post it while I was still thinking about it.
