Sunday in the Park with George - I love this show. It sounds like they've done some marvelous things bringing it to life with theatre technology. This is something I would definitely go to see if I were still living in the Big Apple. Those of you with access can go live vicariously for me.

I hate Judith Warner. But I think this week's commentary column on the 'narrative of overmedicating children' speaks to our culture's fears, regardless of whether or not you agree with the 'narrative' of overmedication. (I, for one, am grateful for medication, but do think it's overprescribed to EVERYONE not just kids. The problem to me seems to be how can we continue research to relieve the suffering of humanity without resulting in massive overmedication of the population to be able to support that research. I'm also interested in the environmental impact of the modern healthcare-industrial complex, whether it's mutating frogs or virulent super-viruses.)

Finally, a throwaway piece on Bill Richardson who is being heavily courted by both Clinton & Obama. I'm only posting this, because at one point Richardson was my candidate of choice, and because there is a hilarious picture of Richardson and a bored-looking Bill Clinton watching the superbowl together. Dig the sofa and Bill's sweater.

P.S. I'm really interested by Obama/Kennedy comparisons, which I've noticed, but haven't seen much commentary, yet.
