ashfae who asked what species should disappear. A number of respondents said 'wasps' and suggested they were good for nothing.
As someone who is currently cutting up the Gamache's backyard apples for baked goods, I am here to tell you that wasps are good for killing other insects. Particularly of the fruit burrowing variety. Apparently they lay their eggs on the eggs of other insects. Their larvae eat the other larvae. Fruit becomes worm free.
