Puppy Adventure

I was walking home from the post office when two puppies burst out of a house and started following me down the hill. One was a chocolate colored labrador looking puppy. The other was black with white, had longer hair, and sharp ears. They followed along in that zig-zag sniff-everything pattern; but I was concerned that no one was coming to retrieve them.

Just as I reached the bottom of the hill, a lady with an enormous grown dog came around the corner. She gave me a glare that said, "Put your dogs on a leash!"

"I'm sorry," I said. "These puppies ran out of a house up the street and now they're following me home."
