I am not sure I understand why they would give laptops to kids and not to families. Actually, that's one of my major complaints with many initatives, why focus only on children? And as scary as it is, I kind of agree with Bill Gates, is this what people need most? Will this end up being profoundly disruptive, especially since they're talking about giving things to kids and not adults? I'm pretty sure the $150 would be better spent on potable water right now, but it is cool.
