Let the holidays begin

I listened to Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols, let the holidays begin!

Decorated my living Xmas tree with 12 glass ornaments. I think that's about all it can take this year. I'm still shocked it survived from last Xmas.

Saw the Narnia movie last night. I have many negative things to say about it, but it still made me weep.

There was something else I was going to say, but I've forgotten. Oh well, it's time for me to run errands, hang pictures, visit the post office, and decide what chores can be left undone.

Edit: My water is back, nothing seems to be leaking.

Also, there is an interesting article in Elle, which reveals that Courtney Love is granddaughter to author Paula Fox. Too many kinds of messed up in that family.

I do. It's a very faithful adaptation to the book, I thought; I have some criticisms, but they're more of the book than the movie. And there were many movie moments that were pure pleasure. See it, if only for the scenes with Lucy and Mr. Tumnus.
