In response to [livejournal.com profile] sdn's question as to whether I resemble the work of an artist:

In my heavier days I was frequently compared to Titian's Venus and Adonis which mystified me. I was neither that heavy, or that blond. I think it's the way I styled my hair, and a certain heavy sensuality that invited comparison.

I have also been often compared to Renoir, which I think is more apt, as he loves round brunettes, though again I'm not quite so large. His Diana has often invited comparison, though I can't see the resemblence at all.

I'm not sure the work of either artist is entirely accurate, and I'm wondering if anyone ever pictures me with my clothes on? Add your pictures (or links to them) in the comments section.

I would not have chosen either of those. Maybe a Manet

hmm. That's an interesting question. I don't think I agree with Venus and Adonis for you, at least not now, but there's something about the expression of Diana's that does invite comparison. She's much more... you than the Manet. The Manet is too blank. Diana is at least obviously thinking about something.

Hmmm. This is an interesting question. I'll have to think on it for myself. Who, besides me, has painted me? If I come across a better representation of you (from my perspective) while I'm looking, I'll let you know.
