Okay, if you aren't all subscribed to Dinosaur Comics... what's wrong with you! Today's comic is funny even without knowing about my problems with Unreliable Narrators. Plus, the 'it was all a dream!' ending to Hamlet cracks me up. (Though, not unprecedented in Shakespeare's work, with the two most notable dream plays being Midsummer Night's Dream and The Tempest. Which reminds me, if all y'all have not seen Forbidden Planet GO TO!)
BTW - I had a writing teacher who used to give me crap about the unreliable narrators in my work. One day she even said, "S, next time you feel out an application, that space where it says occupation, put 'unreliable narrator.'" Which is not to say this is a technique I practice much in my regular life. But it might have something to do with the way I attract unreliable narrators.
